Derek has over 15 years of marketing and corporate branding experience. From creating corporate identities, to developing and launching brand strategies, Derek has created work for household names like Golf Galaxy, The Minnesota Wild, Rapala and many more.
He specializes in developing identities and brands as well as repositioning established brands. His experience includes national work in all mediums.
Derek’s work has been recognized by creative award shows, including the 2003 RAC Awards. But awards aren’t everything. Derek was an integral part in developing and launching the brand strategy for Golf Galaxy, a national big box golf retailer.
Derek has an Associates Degree in Advertising Design from Brown College in Minneapolis.
When he’s not “being creative”, Derek enjoys playing bad golf, fishing and coaching hockey. When he’s not in the office, odds are he’s on the course, on the lake or on the ice.
